Just saw a posting on Craigslist for servers and cooks for a new burger joint called Smashburger.

I was wondering if anyone has ever had a burger from one of their other establishments and, if so, what did you think of it?

I don't know when it will be opening up, but I would like to here from those who have had a Smashburger so I can try it once I finally get to go back to NKU in the near future.

I've been to the Smashburger just off campus at UK. It was very good and I really liked the fries. I haven't had any of the other new burgers in Lexington, but I'd go back to Smashburger again. I'm glad NKU is getting one.

Good albeit expensive burgers. Fries are really good.

I believe they fry them in butter.

Glad they're coming to town.

It was expensive. But it wasn't like eating a McDonald's hamburger and wanting to eat again two hours later. It was filling and worked as a good lunch meal. So the expensive price didn't bother me too much.

There is one in Blue Ash, OH at the corner of of Reed Hartman Hwy and Cornell Rd. It pretty new and always packed. I haven't had the opportunity to give them a test just yet. Maybe tomorrow...

Eat at the one in Blue Ash all the time. Great tasting burger and there are fries and then they have the smashfries (tossed in rosemary, garlic and olive oil). Go with the smashfries, worth the up charge. Florence store coming next year on Houston Road.

Is this Smashburger as in Dairy Cheer "Home of the Smashburger" ? If so they have some good stuff, especially their ice cream selection.

Nah, Smashburger is a chain not to be confused with Dairy Cheer. Dairy Cheer only has 4 locations period, as far as I know.

Smashburger is a much larger nationwide chain.

I was wondering the same thing.

Wonder who wins in a trademark infringement case? Haven't those EKy joints been open since the '50s?
