October 19, 201114 yr I will say this though. The manager came around and asked how it was. My gf's aunt's burger was still a little pink inside and he tried to give her a new burger but instead gave her 2 free milk shakes. If your gonna run the business that's a good way to start.
October 20, 201114 yr Just got home from there. It was a good burger. Not as good as 5 Guys or SkinnyLegs/Zolas. Kinda reminded me of Steak N Shake but a bit thicker. The fries were decent. The price was a little much. Sorry man, but I don't get it. 5 Guys is nothing near Smashburger. Actually it's terrible. That blows my mind. I will NEVER go to 5 Guys again, and we love Smashburger.
October 20, 201114 yr I think I might stop in there this weekend. Drove by on my way to the gym at NKU the last two days and the place looked packed!
October 24, 201114 yr I had it for dinner last night. I will say that it was definitely good, but I don't really see myself going back there too often. Over $10 for a burger, fries (very small portion if you ask me) and a drink just doesn't get rationalized too much from my wallet. With say that, I had the Bluegrass burger and it was very good. The fried banana peppers was a suprisingly very nice addition. I think I'd go with 5 Guys over Smashburger though. More food for my money.
October 24, 201114 yr Another Burger Joint thats all this great country needs. Slow death for everyone including myself. So good but oh so bad for you.

October 24, 201114 yr Another Burger Joint thats all this great country needs. Slow death for everyone including myself. So good but oh so bad for you. If you treat such places as a "treat" it's OK to eat bad every now and then. However many people don't. With that said I can't wait to try this place out.
October 28, 201114 yr OK, I took my teenage son there tonight and tried it out. It was crowded but the line moved fast. I got the Bluegrass Burger and he got the Wild Turkey BBQ Chicken. I also ordered the sweet potatoes fries while he got the garlic variety. Both of us got waters and our bill was $19. Really? So not knowing how big the meal would be I reluctantly parted with my cash. When they brought it out the Burger was similar to a Wendy's style single but much bigger and the meat is 100% Black Angus. I took a bite and I could feel the grease just oozing into my veins. The fries were just as greasy but very good. My son really enjoyed his sandwich but the chicken breast was thin and for a 165lb kid he said he was still hungry when he finished. For $19 I didn't like hearing that but he is a HS kid with a metabolism I wish I still had. So all in all I enjoyed my heart stopping Burger but I doubt I go back. It didn't WOW me enough to want to spend that much money. On the ride home the boy made me run through Wendy's and get him a #11 Big Size with a large Frosty. Where do these kids put that stuff? October 28, 201114 yr ^ I miss those days. "When I drink a chocolate milkshake my butt jiggles for a week".
October 28, 201114 yr I'm with Q. It's a solid burger but way overpriced. Seems like a few people now have had that same assessment.
October 28, 201114 yr Seems like a few people now have had that same assessment. Smashburger is an "expense account" lunch place for me. I ain't paying with my own jack.
November 15, 201114 yr Just finished our first attempt at Smashburger. The food wasn't bad, but they fouled up two out of three burger orders and gave us the wrong kind of fries.
