If you would have left Leake in to start the 7th, then I might have to wonder.

Ondrusek didn't get it done.

Leake left the game a groundball away from maintaining the lead. Bray gives up a SAC fly and Ondrusek gets lit. I fail to see where Leake was the problem.

4.38 ERA outside Petco...nothing special.

Leake wasn't the problem. The problem was leaving Leake in

I agree that Ondrusek was the main reason they lost. I still feel Dusty leaving Leake in didn't give them the best chance to win. The best chance was Bray or Chapman starting that inning or at the very least facing Reyes.

Agree
.... in San Diego canyon.
Yep. Still 9-2.

Bingo that is the biggest difference.

Yep. Still 9-2.

I am glad for him, but I don't want him in Cincinnati pitching at GABP.

Still a lot better than what we saw out of Harang the last couple of years.

It had nothing to do with Dusty. He plays in a canyon, no fences, dead air, 6 outfielders. You know.

Add another .5 to that ERA in GABP. Not to mention the psychological impact of GABP versus San Diego canyon. I have no doubt pitching at GABP makes pitchers throw scared. In a ballpark like San Diego, just ease up, throw it down the middle and say good luck. Pitchers get a lot more aggressive and it impacts their whole mindset at home and away.
