I haven't read a single word on this thread. All that I can say, is that it is not for you and I to judge. Anthony beat her conviction. Yet, there is no way that she can beat the conviction in God's eyes. I don't know if she did it or not (though I feel certain she did). At this point, I pray for her soul. Beautiful Caylee is somewhere we all long to be. She's good at this point. Let's hope that Ms. Anthony finds Jesus in her life, and that a semblance of good can from this tragedy.

I stand by the statement. It's may only be a few in this particular instance but it's most every day. On here, facebook, at church, you name it. Talking specifically about this case, does it really matter what the jury decided? If you are a christian and believe what the bible says then the only judgement that matters is between Casey and god. And if she accepts Jesus Christ into her heart, confesses your sins and truly repents then she will not be burning for all eternity like most want to think.

Someone needs to Call Ryan Widmer and tell him that Casey Antony needs a bath.

I must be the only person in the United States who thinks that the verdict was correct .

Fair trial? Tell that to her kid. I'm sorry but if all kinds of circumstantial evidence points back at someone, and they have no real defense to their actions, they're guilty. We've made it to where murder is the easiest crime to get away with. My brother is in corrections, and he says prisoners say that. Unless someone sees you do it or you're extremely sloppy, if you have a decent lawyer you'll get away with it. That's not a fair trial. That is not justice. Casey Anthony's trial did not provide justice. It provided that we have a broken court system when it comes to murder.

Having trials broadcast is imo the single biggest mistake ever made. These are REAL murder trials and not some afternoon soap opera. The lawers, judge, witnesses, jury and even the people in the court room turn into actors and play the part. Casey Anthony and her team of attorneys played the part, recieved the Oscar and a baby killer walks! End of Story.

No, the public really doesn't have a right to know, or shouldn't know. Only people that needs to know what is going on every single minute of a trial are the ones that are involved in the case.

There is never such thing as being "100% certain" about someone's guilt, like you have to to vote guilty in the first place. The justice system has become a sham if someone like Casey Anthony can murder her child and get away with it, and people think that is the right verdict. I'm of the opinion that you should be guilty until proven innocent in criminal cases. Why should the state have to prove Anthony did it? How did this case provide justice, a guilty woman who commited the worst crime in the world is walking free. Wouldn't it make more sense for her to have to explain why even though every piece of evidence points back to her that she didn't do it. She did it, you know it & I know it, case closed send her to the electric chair and fry her up good.

Let me get this straight. Under your definition of guilty until proven innocent, I'm a police officer. I decide I don't like you, so I arrest and charge you with whatever criminal offense I want to. The state has no obligation to prove you did it. You have to prove you didn't do it.

 

Sorry, I don't want to live in that country.
