Why did he choose not to play in the Under Armour all American Game? You seem very close to him and was wondering why he choose not to play in this game. Heck, he has been traveling across the country for the last year for every camp and every event to get exposure, just curious as to why he would pass on an event like this that gives him national exposure.

Hahahaha!!!! I think this is crazy talk. Why does Zeke care if he was dropped. Pretty much going to Auburn right? Unless he does something really drastic to change the Auburn coaches minds, he doesn't need ESPN anyway. Right?

I am pretty sure you are not allowed to play in the Army All-American and the Under Armour game. I believe you can only play in one..

Like many others have said on this thread I think it's highly likely that Pike doesn't end up playing QB, in fact it's still not certain which side of the ball he may even end up on. .

Any of the people on BGP, and more than likely Auburn.... If they think he's the next great QB prospect I'd be shocked to say the least.

While I am not saying wingman's theory is true there is an example from this year that supports his claim and it is done by both services Rivals and ESPN

Brett Hundley (UCLA) played in the Under Armor game which is affiliated with ESPN was ranked 12th best QB by Rivals and 5th best QB by ESPN.

Cody Kessler (USC) played in the Army All American game which is affiliated with Rivals was ranked 4th best QB by Rivals and 30th best by ESPN.

 

So it would not be that unheard of that these services may rank 1 QB higher because he is their guy, heck people do it all the time find me a bluebird that would say they think Pike is the better QB, I know as a Colonel fan I would not sayTowles is better than Pike.

 

Take what you want from it Zeke and Patrick both have a great oppurtunity in front of them and hopefully in 4 years they are listed as the top NFL QB prospects.

If you want to move it to the NFL which is probably an equal jump in talent level I could list quite a few. Josh Cribbs, James Jones, Randel El, Matt Jones, Brad Smith, Arnaz Battle,

Add Cris Collinsworth to this list. He was recruited as a QB out of HS and actually only played 1 yr at that position at Florida before being converted to WR.
