At the end of the day, one can do all the comparisons but the true winner is nky and the attention this brings. I for one hope they go on to be very successful.

 

Amen, hopefully they can open some doors for athletes up here. I'm not talking about sending kids to BCS programs, but making coaches w/ scholarships to give realize that this is a good area to recruit. Florida is full of kids who are not DI caliber players, but coaches will roll the dice on them b/c they are from Florida. If NKY can get a little bit of that effect, then many kids will be able to go to school for free. That's what DI football is for most players.

Just from tape I don't think either could have found a better offense to play in. Towles could be awesome at UK, and Pike definitely fits what Auburn does. Win-win IMO.

We've got 2 BCS D1 QBs in one class in NKY. May never happen again.

 

Not so sure......Technically, HHS had 2 on the same team in 1998... A SR and a Soph...

It tells us as much as the OPs about ESPNs recent rankings.. I guess if you are a Towles fan, then ESPNs ranking are accurate, but, if you happen to be a Pike fan, then the Scout and Rivals rankings are more accurate..

To be clear that wasn't a shot at you. I just think the "scouts" can't possibly be accurate once you get past the extremely elite. It's a crapshoot after that.

 

With very , very few exceptions I root for all kids to succeed.

They are both very good..Intangables are huge at the qb position and that is why I like Towles.. Plus he is a proven winner and a Bluebird...lol
