June 9, 201115 yr I've learned a lot. I've read about teams subscribing to newsletters or services. Sounds like it's similar to that. It's the evolution of how it used to be. Case in point there were a lot of worn out phone bills when Anthony Davis broke out last May. By Sunday of that weekend he went from minimal interest to double digit high major offers. Coaches weren't out on the road, and it wasn't just because Rivals or Scout had a write up about some unknown kid playing well. For the record I considered myself just a reporter for a long time. Over the past two years that has changed. Far from the top of the profession, but even my history here in the college basketball forum would show I know what I am talking about as someone on the road working for a living. Good conversation.
