June 7, 201115 yr I go to several sites and on one called The Cats's Pause there is a thread about maybe Coach Tressel going to UK if Joker has a rough season. My take as I pull for the Cats/Cards in football. I'd like to see Joker get more time if he has a bad season this year. But I know the fans if they go 5-7 or even 6-6 they will be frustrated. Coach JT has some baggage but maybe he has learned his lesson and coaching in the SEC might be something he would want to try. I don't see any job openings in the SEC anytime soon or which coach might be on the seat thats Hot? Georgia maybe? Again, this is something on the UK board I am just sharing, I didn't even read all the comments.

June 7, 201115 yr Author Well, I went back and read their replies and 8 out of 10 folks say No, and most because of the same reason as above but the word dishonest/cheater being used a lot. One poster mentiones Hal Mumme/Mike Price still getting jobs after messing up. One other guy/gal mentions Eddie George wanting Charlie Strong at OSU. On a side bar issue, there is so far no TV mention of the Cats/Cards game. CBSS and ESPNU have room.
June 7, 201115 yr WOW! Just think of the pressure to win on the "wannabe" OSU coaches and teams this year! Personally, I hope/think they will stay with the guy who is "interim"...if they don't implode!

Exactly. After what UK's program as gone through Tressel should be the last coach they would ever think about hiring.
June 7, 201115 yr 168 phone calls to mentors of players in trouble.....C'mon Man!! This guy may never coach again in a power conference....who would take that chance....they would fire an AD that even mentioned his name!!
June 8, 201115 yr I'd rather play for Tressel for Calipari anyday. But they're both scumbags that win and recruit great players. I'd love to see The Vest in Lex. No way it ever happens though.
