Female athletes at Beechwood work side by side with football now ...

Plus .. this is an all sports facility ... the girls teams benefit in the exact same manner as the boys.

Yeah ... because there are just SO MANY tutition students at Beechwood to begin with.

 

Not to mention ... it would take at least a 100 years to pay for this building even if out of district tuition was used to pay for this building.

Now if they would just spend a little of that $ on the football seating. State of the art field and training facilities need decent seating. Beechwood's number of seats and quality was suprisingly poor considering the new facility and the field. Congrats, it looked like it would be very nice when I visited in late November

 

There is nothing wrong with the quality of the seating that I am aware of. The bleachers are in fine condition with easy access. Equal or better quality than most of the stadiums I see. As to the number of seats ... that only comes into play 1 or 2 games a year. All the other games there is plenty of seating available.

That's outstanding, very nice for a deserving program!

Nice addition....tuition must be going up to cover the cost, since their enrollment has stayed the same.

 

The link said there had been a 9% increase in enrollment over the past 5 years. I assume that's for the entire school district, which as you know is all housed on the one campus.

I agree...especially taking into account the fact that their stands are probably 25+ years old now, I'd have to say that Beechwood's stands are pretty darn nice. Ryle and Cooper aside, there aren't any stadiums around NKY that stick out in my mind as being any nicer.

I agree about the stands, just too small and tight. But, they are in good condition for being close to 25 years old.

any pics available for the inside as well. Would like to see the locker room, weight room, etc.

They are not completely finished. Did have the pleasure of walking through last week with Coach Rash and what a beautiful facilty and state of the art. The Coaching Staff's and all player's that wll be using this facility should be proud and will have one of the nicest facilities I have seen for high school. Good Luck Tigers. JD

Keep in mind, Ft Mitchell is not large so the seating is good for 95% of the games. In your area, the whole area comes out to support MF and up here there are 15+ HS's within a few miles all playing on the same nights.

The crowd you witnessed was WAY smaller than it would have been had Trinity not been playing at Ryle a few miles away. So, it could have been much worse

 

I sure wish the visitors had a place on the opposite side of the field, but not likely going to happen if it hasn't happened by now.

Simon Kenton has probably the nicest stadiums all new bleachers 2 concession stands one on each side with grills.
