The crowd you witnessed was WAY smaller than it would have been had Trinity not been playing at Ryle a few miles away. So, it could have been much worse

 

I sure wish the visitors had a place on the opposite side of the field, but not likely going to happen if it hasn't happened by now.

 

I would guess that some of the local rival games draw huge crowds like a Cov Cath that is all but located next door. With big crowds where do they watch from??? I know they didn't allow anyone around the field. With the next athletic facility I would say visitor seating not going to be possible for you guys

Cov Cath and Newport Catholic are the games that draw the best crowds. Even with those crowds, standing room around the hillsides usually is all the room that is needed. Like Crunch said, there are a half dozen schools within 5 miles of Beechwood and another half dozen within 10 miles. That dilutes the crowds much more than your area where there are only maybe 3 schools in the county. If I counted right off the top of my head here, there are 14 high schools in Kenton County. Of course the population is higher in Kenton Co. also but that still is a lot of schools.
