May 10, 201115 yr The Heat win 98-90 in OT and go up 3-1. I can't see Boston winning three in a row including two in Miami. Never a doubt once it got to OT. Too many minutes for too many guys who are getting pretty long in the tooth.
May 10, 201115 yr That was a great game and all, but why am I still awake? I'd like to travel back in time three years ago and tell myself that in the spring of 2011 I'd stay up until almost 2 a.m. so I could watch the entirety of a Thunder/Grizzlies game.

That shouldn't happen. To be fair, Durant shot 7 more FT's (18-11). But, that is the first thing I noticed when I looked at the box score. Of course, I didn't watch the game. It may not have been a big deal as the game played out. I would think on a consistent basis that's not the split you'd want with those two players.
May 10, 201115 yr After they win the title the Heat will look back at that game last night as the turning point. Pretty much put the nail in the coffin of the Celtics and Bosh got a huge bucket that could do wonders for his confidence going forward. Boston is the last team that can beat them IMO.

I don't know if Memphis will get there but Memphis causes matchup issues for them. They have a quick PG and wings that defend very well in Allen and Battier. I think the Heat would beat Memphis but they would rather face anyone else IMO.
May 10, 201115 yr If you had to rank the teams left in the playoffs right now, how would you rank them? I think Boston would be dead last, and I am aBoston fan. They really look old right now with Garnet and Pierce leading the way. Definitely a changing of the guard this year in the NBA with the Lakers and Celtics out and the young super athletes, speed and three ball in.

May 10, 201115 yr Somethings going to have to give eventually, things aren't looking good between the two right now. The Thunder keep winning but I don't like the chemistry on that team at all. Westbrook is a problem IMO. He wants to be the man and he will shoot until he gets his points. He could care less about getting team mates involved. Can I shoot again or should I dribble up and give you a turn to shoot? He is an offensive force for sure but it is all about him.
