I agree and running in general, Cam ran much more this year than Vick ever did and Vick is just now becoming a pocket passer 8-9 years into the league.

Newton is a much more advanced passer than Vick was coming out of college IMO. Not saying he'll be as good or better than Vick, but as far as just throwing the football I think he's closer to what NFL teams would want than Vick was. However, MV has one of the best arms in the league and was a much better athlete than Newton IMO even though that seems crazy. Vick's the best athlete the NFL has ever seen as far as I'm concerned.

WOW!!! This is exhausting.

What is funny is that Pike and Towles have no animosity towards each other at all. Both contacted each other after each had committed to their respective schools. I think both of these guys see the bigger picture.

Kids usually handle athletics much better than adults.

So, does anyone know? Is this the first player from NKY to sign w/ a defending champ? I believe that Ed Ziegler from NewCath signed w/ Notre Dame following the '65 season and was a Freshman on the National Championship team.

See Post #45. ^^^ Shaun was two years away.

Mex, I hear that guy was awesome back in the day.

Congratulations Zeke.

I read an article recently that said Mark Pike and Ted Roof (def coach at AU) played ball together at GaTech.

The thing about signing with Auburn is Gus Malzahn isn't going to be there coaching him. I'm betting he is a head coach after this year. It looks like a fantastic system for QB's to play in but I would have hitched my wagon to a more stable situation.

(Probably not Arkansas for the same reason)

Zeke and Diddy's son are boys.

His Auburn ball cap became part of his Prom wardrobe last night. That's pretty awesome. WOW!!!

Zeke is doing some recruiting.

AU continues to get big commitments from the class of 2012.
