I believe Stansberry should have been on the team, he killed NewCath in the first half. But I think the Dixie coaching staff picks who's on the team.

Chevy should of demanded that he wanted four players on the All Tourney team. Get him his plaque later.

While I think the young man played very well and might have gotten the short straw, I highly doubt if any coach would or could demand that one of his players make the all tourney team!:idunno:

Yes, demanded. He would have garnered lots of respect whether his wish would have been fulfilled or not. The kid flat deserved it.

Well...while a few posters have commented on the lack lustre performance..they were not the ones who played the day before and then rolled out for 4 OT's the next day on a college court. I will forgive the less than NBA performance and just say both teams deserve recognition.

I got a lot of action shots of the game. NKU top notch when it comes to lighting. However, these few shots really stood out after I went back and looked at my pics. The action shots are neat but these just help explain the game.

Just want to take a moment and congratulate Dixie Height coach Chevalier, asst coaches,players,cheerleaders and fans on a terrific season so far and congrats on a great win. Wish them the best in the sweet sixteen torunament and hope they can bring it home for the 9th Region. Same congrats to NewCath for a great season and final 9th region game. JD

No one can shoot a better picture than D Series but it is hard to get him to share more than a few. I am a big fan.

You gotta be kidding me, right? The kid pulls his jersey out a little and thumps his chest once.

 

For ANY fan to try and make a big deal about that is simply looking for something to bash the kid about. I see absolutely nothing wrong with what he did. And considering some of the things the Newcath PARENTS and fans were yelling at the kid during the game, I would've probably done more than just "thump my chest."

 

Give the kid a break. Grown adults on here making a big deal about that is comical.

 

If we're going to talk about a kid's antics, I seen MUCH WORSE things occur in other games during this region tournament than a 15 yr old thumping his chest after a win.

 

There were TWO Newcath players that did several classless things during last nights' game that I won't mention for the simple fact that this isn't the place for it.
