What year was Adams? First name? If it was recently, the coaches did a good job of keeping him a secret.

Imagine that...another thread turned into lets hate on Highlands thread. So old!

If ya'll weren't so arrogant.....

I did. Back when it was a 9th region baseball thread. Read the thread, silly boy!

I talked to an NCC guy over the weekend and he is very excited about their team. I believe they will have 8 Sr's in the starting lineup and the lone JR will likely be Hightchew who came on strong at the end of last season. A lot of depth at on the mound as well with Jake Cain 1, Vance Sullivan 2. He said they have a ton of JR pitchers as well.

Will Sullivan play the field or just pitch?

His name was Zac Adams and he graduated in 2008. He was the ace his junior year and he pitched the first game of the season and touched 90. Three games later he was hurt at first base when a runner ran into his right shoulder and torn his laybrum( my bad if it's not spelled correctly). Thats the reason he wasn't really heard of until his senior year when he lead NKY in home runs (11).

I find it sad that he is eligible. I know of at least one young that was going to transfer a couple years ago because of a football injury. He was going to run track, a sport his school did not have, since he could no longer play football. He was told there would be a one year period to sit out since he had played some varsity football that year. At least that was a legitimate reason.

The State said he is eligible because he has moved, that is one of the things they look at.

I remember him well. Didn't realize that was who you were refering to because I never saw him pitch. Nice player.

I would liked to have been "a fly on the wall" when this was discussed at KHSAA headquarters.

Don't know, but Coach Schulkens is going to have a load of talent at his disposal. Lets see how he puts it to work.

Funny how he is going to NCC and is cleared to play and some years beck Coach Schneider from NCC raised a lot of heck about a guy who moved to Ft Thomas and HHS and he was not allowed to play. But now we are talking about a different sport and a different team.

How does the saying go...it is not what you know but who you know???????????????????????

Why is that? It is all legit. They have moved, their house is for sale. Plain and simple.

Why is it sad? One kid moved and the other transfered. Two different things.

The kid that moved to FT. was renting and they were not selling there house. Two different things.
