January 23, 201115 yr 4 straight games for Miller in double figures now I believe. Still wished he would have had the ball in his hands with 10 to go against Bama. I would have liked our chances with Miller in a spread. Loved the emotion he showed today also. Nice win for the CATS. Muldrow was in beast mode.
January 23, 201115 yr Maybe Miller is starting to realize that while he isn't necessarily the Star of this team, His presence on the court does matter and he has to insert himself occassionally into the game. One thing I really liked tonight was that he shot that little floater in the lane with confidence tonight. Sometimes this season I've felt like he simply has thrown the ball up there with a hope a prayer but no actual touch involved. As for the freshman, Jones is Jones. He plays on emotion and tempo. Brandon was aggressive tonight and I hope he starts being more assertive as he gets used to SEC play. Jones is very important to this team, but I am still convinced Knight's play is more important because of his role as PG. His whole game hinges on him getting shots and asserting himself. We are a much more complete team when that occurs it seems. Lets string together a few important wins.
January 23, 201115 yr Huge win on the road, IMO. Maybe they play with more confidence in the future. I agree, South Carolina is one of the tougher places to play at on the road in the conference.
January 23, 201115 yr Some nice dunks by both teams, Muldrow is a stud. Luckily for us UK fans we didn't have to hear the constant techno music with the crowing every five minutes like they did during last season's game. They must only wear that stuff out when they are winning.
January 23, 201115 yr Needless to say This was a much needed road conference win. U.K. played much better/harder today than that total lack of effort at Bama. Jones came out ready to play today, hopefully this kind of effort will continue every time out. I was very pleased to see Miller have the kind of game that he had and hopefully this will get him going. With this teams lack of depth having Miller play well is essential. Brandon Knight also had a very good game as usual. U.K. doesn't play untill Saturday so I would say the Cats are in for a very hard week of practice, Hopefully Cal can get some much needed work in. I like this team and still feel that they can come together to win the SEC. Tenn.,Vandy and UGA are all going to be tough but they are not national powers by any stretch of imagination and I feel that this team has the talent and will gel and win the SEC. Will I be mad and trashing them should they not.......certainly not. I just feel that the Cats will get it done and am with them all the way all the time. GO BIG BLUE!!! January 23, 201115 yr Another good Saturday in Big Blue Universe.......Cats Win!! Cards Lose!! Vols Lose!!
January 23, 201115 yr The Cats were more focused in this game than the Alabama game. The hustle was there. In the Bama game they seemed to get beat to every 50/50 ball, but not the case against USC. Great game by Miller. He's on a roll right now and I hope he keeps it up. He's playing with much more confidence.
January 23, 201115 yr Another good Saturday in Big Blue Universe.......Cats Win!! Cards Lose!! Vols Lose!! It will be a perfect weekend if Green Bay wins Go Pack.
January 23, 201115 yr I'll go ahead and say it. Polson is more valuable than Jon Hood and to me it's not even close. Polson doesn't really mess up when he gets minutes. I can't say the same for Hood.
