Beechwood and Highlands back to back. That will be a mental challenge as much as a physical one.

Now that's better. The Mafia will be silenced after the regular season next year. Looks like 8-2 to me going into the playoffs.

Ahh...so Highlands will have their bye week on Sept 16th? :D

If they are good, they should at least go 9-2!

^ I agree... this schedule should allow CCH to have a very good regular season schedule... I have heard that La Salle lost of bunch of good players to graduation. Perhaps CCH will stand a pretty decent chance of winning the game against La Salle this year.

A much more manageable schedule. Running down the schedule

Campbell Co should be a win, but depending on how the kids respond to Lickert, it could be a tough game out of the chute for the Colonels.

Dixie impressed me this year; not only the players but the coaching also. Best coaching job I've seen out of Dixie in a while. Pike is a ball player. Not sure what else Dixie has coming back, but I'd call that game even at this point.

With what LaSalle supposedly loses, CovCath has a real chance in this one. But LaSalle is still a GCL team. Another push at this point to me.

Boone County should be a win.

Beechwood always plays CovCath tough; very tough. And with Beechwood being extremely talented and unusually deep this year, I'm leaning Beechwood.

Highlands. No surprise but I think this will be all Highlands. The CovCath kids had to gain some confidence; then again, the Highlands kids left that field very, very angry.

Pendleton County will be a win for CovCath, as will Harrison County, Holmes and Conner to close out the season.

Overall, CovCath in my opinion at this point in time go finish as good as 9-1 or as bad as 5-5.

I would think 5-5 may not sit well with the folks in Park Hills. 9-1 - 7-3 is my guess

Pike was thrown out of Dixie's last game of the season vs HHS, and thus unless Dixie has a game in week -0- then in week 1 when CovCath plays Dixie, Pike will not get to play.

Hahahahaha! Is that what they are calling them now? Could be 10-0 but likely around 8-2 or if they are not careful, 5-5. I will go with 8-2 reg. season and depending on if JC gets their wish with moving out of 4A, then 10-3. Not too bad.

Some here have them with a pretty good record. Who are the key losses and returners from last year's team? I would assume they have a lot returning based on the predictions.

I thought I read somewhere that Dixie plays NewCath in week 0. Meaning that is the game Pike will have to sit out.

I don't know who all CovCath has coming back, but I know the QB (Bir) is coming back and he's extremely good. So is one of their better O linemen (Connaughton). He looked very good also. If I recall properly, they had quite a few sophomore and junior starters so CovCath should be a very solid team this year.
