Hey BGP. Still locked up in the repair shop. Had a little set-back this morning, when my hemoglobin unexpectedly dropped a little. However, after much discussion, the docs are going to hold back and just see how things go from here. Of course, that means I'm going to be here, at least, a few days longer.

Otherwise, I feel amazingly good. I actually feel better than I have in months...or longer! I know I should not suggest to know God's plan, but, for now, I feel very hopeful about the future.

Great to hear you're feeling better BF! Continued thoughts and prayers!

It's awesome to hear you are feeling better BF. I'm sure they will get this all figured out real soon. Keep fighting. I'll continue to send prayers and thoughts along with everyone else.

Any updates? Hoping that no news is good news. Still thinking and praying for you BF.
I went to see him in the hospital today. He looked GREAT! It was so good to see him joking around and giving me much deserved grief. He hasn't had this much energy in months! Lets all continue to pray that he stays on the path to good health so we can all see him back on here regularly telling us his stories of the menacing neighborhood squirrels.

Thanks to all of you for the prayers and all of the support! It really meant a lot to him!

I could tell that he was better just by the exchange of texts that he and I had today. He and I have a "fondness" of really bad apocolyptic scifi movies and we were joking about them today. It made ME feel better, just sensing how much better that HE felt today.

Thanks for the update, I am so glad that things are looking much better. Give he creditand praise to God :thumb:.

BF.....prayers are and will be continuing, glad to hear you are feeling better.

Since RTS is partying hard in Vegas, I'm forced to update things myself. You just can't get good help these days.

Things are looking up, after a few frustrating setbacks. I'm getting IV Lasix the next two days to reduce the fluid that's been swelling me up and affecting my breathing. I'm also getting five daily doses of iron by IV. They're trying to raise myhemoglobin level to 10 or so over the next few weeks. Most of that production will be my job...with the help of the iron; however, I will be getting a fifth unit of blood tomorrow, to sort of give things a head start.

I sincerely hope that everyone will take a little time to donate blood. You can be someone's invisible hero. Had I not received the right kind of blood, in time, I would have passed away this past Wednesday. Everyone keeps telling me that its amazing that I survived this event. My hemoglobin was 4.9 with 12-15 being normal. The paramedics were able to record a blood pressure just once. That was 56 over 34, I lost over 2/3 of my blood volume. So many people here have told me they've never seen anything like it. It's amazing how God's grace can make impossiible things possible.

I'm not saying any of this to brag or to claim any kind of special strength -- I did nothing. My presence here, and renewed health is the product of, a loving God, the care and prayers of family and friends, and the talents of countless medical professionals.

And here's the best news of all: I may be going home Wednesday!!!

By the way, a lot of the above is posted on my Facebook page. So I apologize to those of you who are sick of hearing me talk about being sick.

Glad to hear you're doing better, man. You've been scaring us.
