Another case successfully wrapped up.

[i borrowed this from my own Facebook page. That's okay though, since it applies as much to my BGP family as it does my FB crew.]

If you've been around BGP very long, you're probably expecting me to rattle on with one of my patented, 50,000 word, post-traumatic str-essays; but I think I'll hold off on that this time around.

Thing is, that would require some sense of a purpose, an overall theme, and the perspective of time -- none of which I seem to have a very good handle on at the moment. I'm a little tired emotionally...beat to crap physically...and a bit confused in spirit.

Why did all this crap -- or any other -- happen? I don't know. It's the unknowable. If I'm to hold to my faith, I have to believe this all serves a grander purpose, and that I'm blessed that a caring and all powerful God carried me through it. I have to resist the temptation to see the universe as a giant shooting gallery, with me as one of the stationary targets that win you nothing more than a Pez dispenser. Still working on that one.

If I come up with an answer for it all, or garner some insightful lessons on life, maybe I'll spill it all in my blog. Don't look for it real soon though.

All I can suggest in this moment, is that you force yourself to have fun every day, that you do something for someone else every day, accomplish enough to feel productive, and try not to mess up the world too much.

That's all I got. I love you guys...I can't thank you enough for your support, encouragement, and (most of all) your prayers. I'll try to stay out of trouble for a while -- deal?
