Thoughts and prayers continue. thanks for letting us know.I think yesterday was just too frantic for them to get a chance to fill us in. But like you, that made me worry that all was not well. As we learned today, it wasn't. I haven't heard any more since the update this morning. Hoping that "no news is good news."
December 12, 201015 yr Author Just spoke to Mrs. Purplehaze. Michael's condition has improved somewhat, and he is conscious, although still pretty incoherent. As we speak, they have taken him to surgery, in an attempt to determine what is causing him to crash, as he did the other night. They also want to insert a central line, which is a large IV tube in the chest. The PH's have been struggling to deal with one of the partners of Michael's long-time doctor. He's the most dangerous kind of doctor there is -- the kind who thinks he knows everything. But he knows nothing about Mike, and nothing about what he has been through. WHat's worse, he wants to blame them for Michael's problems. Fortunately, Mrs. PH was happy to report that Mike's regular doctor is back on the case and is doing today's surgery himself. He's not out of the woods by any stretch of the imagination; however, once again, Michael has surprised everyone with his tenacity, resilience and Bulldog spirit! Mrs. PH wanted me to express, to each of you, how much they appreciate all the support they've received, both now and in the past, from the BGP family. We'll keep praying for further progress. More news when I hear it.

They found a tear in his intestine, and were able to repair it. Mrs. PH says his color has returned and he is doing well. Doctor says he will be groggy for a few days, but before long, he should be back to his old self. Mrs. PH says she will keep us updated on any new positive developments -- we've decided that all developments from here on out will be for the better. Thanks again, to the BGP Prayer Squad!
