December 29, 201015 yr Thanks you all...A little update. He is still real weak and tired. He did eat today! Mike will be getting his staples out tomorrow which I am happy for because the Doctor will see him. I just want to know he is alright. I know he is dehydrated. I called the Doctor late last night. I really thought that I should take him to the ER to be checked out. His doctor told me to just get him to drink, drink and drink. We did not go to the ER which PH was happy for....Well, I was also....just being overly careful.

December 31, 201015 yr You all are wonderful for all your prayers. I took Mike into the hospital yesterday. His doctor kept him overnigt....we just got home. He was really dehydrated. He is much better now. Well, three times is a charm and this was the third hospital stay! Really, though, we owe it all to God. I really believe that He heard all the prayers! I will let you know as PH gets better....I just KNOW he is only going to get better now...no more set backs..... Thanks again!
January 2, 201115 yr Prayers to your family coming from mine. From reading this thread, it seems as though both of you have been through a lot lately and I pray that you will find rest, comfort, and peace in the coming days. Health to you all, and God speed on the recovery for you both. God bless.

January 10, 201115 yr Hey all....Thanks for all the prayers. He is still weak and sometimes has some problems swallowing. I think this might have to do with the NG tube that he had in ICU. He has a doctor's appt tomorrow afternoon. Maybe some questions can be answered then. He is doing better. I guess it is going to just take a little time for him to get back to where he was before. I keep praying and hoping that when we get up the next morning, he will have his strength, will smile, laugh and crack jokes like he always has. Again, I guess this will just take a little time.
January 11, 201115 yr His appt got moved until the 24th...grrr. I had an appt with our internalist tomorrow, however, I am going to let PH go instead of me. I really want this swallowing thing checked out. He can eat, take meds and drink, it is just difficult for him to do it sometimes. I wonder if it was from the NG tube. Better to get it checked out than not.
