November 23, 201015 yr Final Cats advance to 2nd round in Maui. They will play tomorrow night at 9:30 eastern on ESPN. They take on the winner of Washington/Virginia. As a Virginia fan, yes there are a few of us, they just went to Stanford and lost by 20. I would say it's a safe bet it will be UW and UK tomorrow night. :lol:
November 23, 201015 yr Miller was no where to be found tonight... need more productivity from him Only giving up 64 on defense isn't that bad especially when you consider the fact that they really only played 7 players for the most part with the exception of Hood at the very end.
November 23, 201015 yr Jones seems to be the real deal, Lamb can stroke the 3 and Liggins is the like the energizer bunny and his intensity should fuel/rub off on these young players as the season progresses. All great things we are seeing early on in the season. The flip side is Miller disappears way too much during the game, Knight seems to feel the jitters a little bit when his shot isnt falling and doesnt have the explosiveness to get the to rim for some easy baskets to loosen him up, Vargas (at this stage) couldnt truly guard the best big man in eastern kentucky without fouling him on every play (luckily the refs chose to throw him a bone in this one) and the big one is we dont seem to have player who can post up with his back to the basket and get a clutch bucket.

November 23, 201015 yr Observations: 1) Great start again, which was really good to see. 2) Where are you, Darius Miller? 3) Horrendous defense, especially in transition 4) LOVE some DeAndre Liggins. Scrappy, tremendous defender, and is slowly becoming a Chuck Hayes type of player. 5) Knight had a less-than-impressive performance. Let's hope he shakes it off & lights up UW tomorrow. 6) Terrence Jones was unbelievable tonight. Hope he can do that against bigger & better defenders. 7) Actually a bit impressed w/ Oklahoma. As the announcers said, it's a team you can root for (unlike last year).

November 23, 201015 yr Two out of three games they have been absolutely brutal from the line. I love the potential of this team but at some point they are going to need easy buckets in the paint and Jones is by far the only player you can truly depend on for those type of points.
November 23, 201015 yr Why isn't pool playing? I see Poole leaving by the end of the year. He just isn't fitting into the system at this point.
