Who did the Birds use in the backfield tonight? Did McCoy get any touches?

Also, is Sullivan or any other injured players back or will they be back within the next two weeks?

Just want to say, this is the first time in years that I have not been to a Highlands game on a Friday night and I must say that The Fort is just really different. Kinda wierd. Nobody around. The deer are going crazy tonight.:idunno:

Should have gone....It was a good game to watch. 7 hours on the road for a 2 hour game....Well worth it tonight. Well done Birds!! The D really stepped up tonight.

Highlands fans thought Whitley was a treat for a trip two years ago, wait till they roll into Harlan County. Harlan plays a very interesting song to come out to...

Congrats to Highlands, whether people want to admit it or not they are pretty much the gold standard outside of X and T or in other word the real world.

How many yards is JJ have tonight?

I heard 96 yards.

Streeter and True in the backfield. Mccoy got a series at QB in the 2nd half.

Love seeing True gettin carries been saying that for a while he is the truth, kid runs down hill hard. He's like a Green-Ellis, productive.

I think we can thank the Ryle Raiders for preparing us for tonights game , even though we lost that game , we still won the one that counted most !!

My wife and I discussed the very same thing on the drive home.

Defense was stout, bending but never breaking. Only allowing 7 points on defense against a JC that had been steamrolling opponents was amazing (one of JC's TDs was a 60 yard fumble return). Kudos to the D line and the LBs for sticking it to Bratton (#42) and Jude (#1) all night. A key difference in this game vs. Ryle loss was the fact that Ty Seidl wasn't having to make all the tackles 8-10 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Towles is a real warrior out there. Although he was likely

Very impressed with the facilities and the folks from Johnson County were very hospitable. You have a great group of players and fans to boot. Keep your heads held high on a great season. I know Jude is a Jr. What year is Bratton and the QB Hall?

Hope to see you back in Ft. Thomas next year.

Great effort Birds! Defense came up with stops when needed and offense answered scores to keep the pressure on JC. Congratulations to JC on a great season. Super facility and fans.

Bird Defense came to play for sure. I'm suread both teams will need the whirlpool this morning when they wake up.

Hats off to the Birds D. Great scheme . Great pursuit. Great tackling. The difference for Jude this week vs last was that a)better tacklers and b)more people to escape once he got past the LOS. I think they ended up holding him to less than 100 on probably 25 carries.

Offense wasn't overly impressive for the Birds against a decent/not great defense.

Defense was awesome! Offense was awesome! This game had tons of key, clutch plays made by this entire team! No ifs ands or buts.

I'm pretty sure Wienerich would've stopped Emmit Smith or Barry Sanders in high school! His defense's just shut people down! No matter the year or who's on that side of the ball!! Hats off to him and his assistants!

It's a great day to be a Bluebird fan, and an even better day to be a Bluebird player. And tomorrow it will be a great day to be an Audiologist in the Ft. Thomas area.
