I was thinking about this on a long drive yesterday(exciting life I live).

 

While I have met many BGPers I'm actually connected to many.

 

4 of us have kids in the same grade at the same school.

 

3 of us have daughters that graduated together.

 

One BGPer was in my wedding years and years ago.

 

One BGPer hired me for my first real job out of college.

 

2 of us have sons that will be working together for the same firm in the near future.

 

Probably more I'm not thinking of.

 

Your connections?

I work at the same company with 5 other posters.

 

One poster was my son's baseball coach for a while.

 

Another poster(former poster) is a friend of mine and their son went to Highlands.

 

I have a few friends who I've known for a long, long time that post on here. OB(not sure he still posts or may post under another name) and I have been friends for over 20 yrs.

I went to high school with all the "obnoxiously arrogant" ones.

I went to high school with one... That's about as far as my knowledge of BGPers off of BGP goes.

I have no connection to any outside of BGP. The only poster I have ever actually meet was All Thumbs.

My only outside connection was having Freshman O at Murray with one

I went to High School with a few.

Know one through a friend, know another through some friends. Was actually coached in football by one, that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

There is a BGP member I beat up one night at White Castle. Does that count Clyde?

Man do I miss him, great person. We would PM each other several times each day, but I never got to meet him in person. I still e-mail a friend of his each day.

 

I have had some BGP's in class, taught with some, related to a few, and have met several in person. One even gave me a shirt of his team at state tourney and I wore it supporting his team. Some I PM often and feel like I have known them forever, but we have never met.
