Shocker to say the least. Montgomery Co. is a better team than I give them credit for.

So proud of my indians!!! I was getting texts from family at the game and was excited with each text. The indians had to put the distraction of Court Days behind them and focus on a huge game-senior night. Very proud at be a former indian.

This really shakes up the playoff picture out of that district.

 

Sure does. Basically puts Ashland on the road at the winner of next week's CovCath/Dixie game. Looks like potentially another early playoff exit for the Tomcats.

I saw Montgomery County play earlier in the season knew that they had some size and speed . Congratulations on a big win against a quality football program.

This year’s Tomcats seem to be under achievers. Their only remaining shot at dignity looks to be a road victory in the play-offs.

I honestly don't know. No disrespect to Montgomery County, but Ashland has too much talent to be losing such a game.

 

What is going on?? Have I been fooled by the talent on this team or is it a lack of effort??

Great win for the Indians! There are some real quality kids on this team and even though they aren't the most talented, they play with a lot of heart and give 110% every time they step onto the field.

How far was then field goal that MC made to take the final lead?

Ok I was just joking around. But in all honesty I do not see how Ashland can be so athletic and not win this game. I know the Johnson Central game was draining physically and emotionally, but Ashland is to talented to let this happen. A road playoff game will be tough for the Tomcats, but a win could get them another shot at JC.............

Yes it does I too thought Ashland at the start of the season was the best team in their district. If they could not beat one of the Northern KY teams at home I too doubt they will go on the road and beat one. Good point.
