They were focused on if he kept possession of the ball or not.

As far as the late completion not only did the ball bounce I don't think the WR had both feet in when the ball got to his hands.

 

Depends on what color glasses you're looking through, orange or pewter. They both looked in to me. The result, the video was too inconclusive to overturn the ruling on the field. Besides, Connor Barth has not missed a field goal this year, 2 of which were from where Sabby went out, and is 80% from that range lifetime. The result would have been the same.

 

The game was not lost on that call. The Bengals started the give away 2 minutes earlier. I was getting ready to change channel just before the Talib pick. Glad I didn't.

I think one of the biggest calls of the game was a terrible PI call on the Bengals in the End Zone that gave TB a TD. If anything it would have been offensive. But the Bengals suck so it doesn't really matter.

Did you see the replay that showed Hall grabbing a handful of jersey and pulling right as the ball was getting there? I thought it was questionable too till I saw that replay and then it was obviously interference.

I was wondering the same thing. I was at the game and had a perfect view. The ball bounced. I saw the replay today on ESPN, and you could tell the ball bounced. I also watched the WR the whole time & he had both feet down. That was not an issue to me, but the ball bounced.

It's part of it. IMO the biggest factor is coaching. The second biggest factor is CP, TO, and 85. The refs did miss the call on the incompletion though IMO.

They showed a replay during the game from a camera across the field where you were looking at the bottom of his shoes. All three people I was watching the game with confirmed that his right foot was off the ground (no cops). You couldn't see it from the other angles. We watched it multiple times on the DVR but they only showed it once on replay.

I totally agree with everything you said. As someone mentioed earlier it starts at the top. Mike Brown is an idiot. Marvin Lewis is also an idiot. CP isn't the problem. He's not great by any means but he has two idiot diva receivers and idiots in charge of the organization. He's in a pretty bad spot. The 1st pick was a terrible read, but that stuff can happen. I'm sure he will admit that was awful and that its on him. Saying all of that if not for two offensive interfernece calls when they would have been in FG range they would be 4-1. That isn't on CP. He needs to be better for them to be successful, but he's done enough for them to be 4-1. Coaches and penalties kill him.

 

Palmer isn't the main problem or Palmer isn't a problem at all? I mean when Sanchez and Josh Freeman are easily two or three notches above him what can you do? I think Seneca Wallace has out played him if you consider the garbage WR core he plays with. Rookie Sam Bradford has struggled less than Palmer has this season. The way I see it right now only Carolina, Oakland, Arizona, probably Cleveland, are worse at QB though I admittedly may be missing a team or a few teams. Pick machine Jay Cutler is more desireable to lead a team. If I were a Bengals fan I'd settle for Charlie Batch over CP. I would put Palmer even with guys like Matt Cassell and David Garrard right now, though CP gets to play with a deeper WR core than either player.

It was part of the game and at times a big part. At no point did anyone say it cost them the game. The Bengals sucked PERIOD. I forgot we can't discus different parts of the game.

Sure we can talk about it. Let's try analogy here: You and I are looking at a car. I point out that the car has no engine. You want to talk about the wear on the tires. I see a car that will not move, you see a car that has some tread wear. Big difference. And HT this is not really directed at you, but all of the Gals apologists that just see some tire wear.
