October 7, 201015 yr My 5 year old bought a Phillies shirt a few weeks ago. He woke up this morning and asked where it was. Told him I gave it to the monster under his bed. Good Lord, I laughed out loud on that one. There's something in there now wired correctly.
October 7, 201015 yr Ok, so after about 22 (no lie) adult beverages, I feel I'm in a good condition to post....The offense was embarrassing, but give it up to Doc, he flat out dealt....With that being said, I am sick and tired of hearing everyone (I know) complain about Dusty and Volquez. It wouldn't have mattered who he started tonight, Doc wasn't getting touched. Volquez got squeezed on a number of pitches, but he has to locate better. When game 4 comes around, and I'm guaranteeing it will, Wood will get the ball. Write it down, lock it up, no doubt. The Reds win game 2 5-2, you heard it hear first (unless of course it was mentioned in the previous 4 pages of this thread, which I have yet to read). Wow. Impressive, imagine how many you'll be able to handle when you're an adult.

October 7, 201015 yr Hallady is as good as it gets. I still think the Dodgers might have won it a couple of years ago if they would have pulled the trigger on gettting him.. It is what it is. I'm not doubting this Reds team. They've been clutch all year. Oswalt owned the Reds in the past but that is the past.

October 7, 201015 yr Baseball started using a device in 2007 in every MLB park to measure pitch speed. Chapman has the top 5 or 6 and 27 of the top 42.

October 8, 201015 yr Something I just thought of... I'm really surprised Votto was the only Red to step out of the box last night against Halladay. When a guy is going like that you have to do anything to break up his routine. Votto tried, but didn't have any luck.

That's because the rest of them were champing at the bit to hack at those first-pitch fastballs.
October 8, 201015 yr Author I'd like to see Nix in the lineup in game #2 instead of Gomes. Dusty announced before game 1 that Nix would get the start against Oswalt in game 2.
