No I stand by my statement that I did not overhype the Braves or make an unrealistic statement by saying they'd win the division.

Just makes you look like a Reds hitter against Doc tonight. Foolish...

More like Grand Slam, out of the ballpark, into the Ohio River.

He could've easily gotten the runner at first. I'm not seeing the trouble getting it out of the glove LRCW is talking about. It's not like it was a slow roller. He just made a dumb play.
That's how I saw it. Youtube anyone?

Sure sure..

I think his best bet was first but it was going to be a bang bang play because he didn't get the ball out of the glove on the first try. He no doubt came out of the glove without the ball on the first attempt...

:thumb: Looked like his glove was about to go with the ball on his second attempt too. I assume he was thinking he didn't have a chance at first anyway so he was looking second the whole time. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter.

I really don't know about getting the runner at 1st. They never really showed how close the runner was to 1st base, but I still say there was no way it was a matter of Cabrera trying to be cute or fancy.

It's so good to be in the playoffs. :D

At least these guys still get to have their fun, right? :thumb:

Oswalt is 23-3 career against the Reds with a 2.81 ERA. 175 Ks to 56 walks in 218 innings

Arroyo is 1-5 career against the Phils with a 5.54 ERA in 8 career games

Just got finished watching the game. I had to record it.

Hats off to Halladay for a great game. It really wouldn't have mattered who Dusty ran out there the way he was dealing.

Reds have to come back and take one Friday, simple as that.
