They'll probably need to make sure the University of Louisville never again schedules a home game for the third week in November. Can you imagine those two playing a regional final at either's home field? No way they could handle that type of crowd.

 

Actually having the stadium available for a Friday night game is not a problem. The issue was scheduling Saturday championship games. X & T will draw the largest crowds for the playoffs and continue to make the most money of any school in the state. Thank you very much KHSAA. :ylsuper:

You missed my point. Schedule 2 out of state teams and replace 1 of them with Ballard. I really like playing them.

Be it Friday or Saturday they'll be alright now.

IMO Class A is not very equally spread out. I think if you look at the west and compare from top to bottom it is by far heavy with teams that traditionally over the last 10 years been solid. I wish they would look at away to make Class A more balanced.

I'm shaking my head at 3A Districts 1-4. How in the world can the KHSAA logically put Bell County and Paducah Tilghman in the same semi-state? Is that not the most ludacris decision out there? First of all, there is nothing 'west' about Bell County and Corbin. Craziness.

Walton and Brossart were likely to by pass the three river schools in class A so those three (Bellevue Dayton and Ludlow) have to love them going to 2A........................Of course for Walton and Brossart going in with NCC and Holy Cross is not good.

Walton is not in with NCC and Holy Cross! They are with Trimble, Owen, Carroll and Gallatin. They are pleased!

Its not really ludicrous when you look at the map.

Cooper has to be very pleased with the way things shaked out!

A team I feel sorry for from the area I am from is Middlesboro. They have long road trips and hafta go against Danville, Somerset, and Lex Christian.

Add Leslie to that district as well. I think that will be a fun district to watch.

Honestly, I hope we continue to play LCA, it has become a great football atmosphere. I'm game if everyone else is. If not, I will miss some of the relationships that have come from the game. Good all around game in my book.

 

Agreed! If Coach Rains was still around i know LCA would love to keep playing Raceland, but with Coach Graham, who knows...

Harrison Co. can't catch a break. Spent several years with Lex. Cath in the same district, and now must be in with Highlands, Cov. Cath, Holmes. Could have a great year but still finish 4th in the district- yikes) 4A is absolutley a murderous class.
