I totally agree. I hear that Highlands may be starting up their own website for their bloggers called... "BluebirdPreps.com" complete with links to Ft. Thomas real estate listings and a "how to" guide for making the back of your school look like a walking billboard.

I get a kick out of people that get mad about kids moving to another school. I have news for the school that the kid supposedly was going to go to if he didn't transfer... Get a reason that kids don't transfer, or just be jealous.

Everything exists in cycles. Some cycles are longer than others. Highlands right now is in very rarified air, populated pretty much by them, X, and T, and maybe Boyle County. Everyone else has work to do; (some more than others!).

 

But that's the beauty of sports - so long as someone is above you, you have something to strive for. If you're not X, T, or Highlands, KEEP PLUGGING! :thumb:

I like his little "pot calling the kettle black" dig at the advertisements on the back of the school. Have you seen Campbell County's ad collection lately? Makes Highlands look little league.

Highlands will be challenged again eventually by an NKY team. When, I don't know, as well as many others. There is no question that Fort Thomas prepares their football players from an early age better than anyone else in NKY, but someone will come up eventually. If I had to guess, I believe that Cov Cath will be back again and Ryle is going to get better than they currently are with time. There's no doubt that Ryle is the best of Boone County and that is going to stay for a while. I know that they are not in NKY, but I believe that Bowling Green could give Highlands a good run if they play this year in playoffs or state title, if not possibly win. I know it is bold, but I have been impressed with Bowling Green from what I have saw.
