Its good to support your team, but you make yourself look silly by comments like this. No team is a powerhouse until they consistenly accomplished great things. SK has not done that. If you think SK is a powerhouse then what do you consider Trinity and St.X? Becasue those two teams are what powerhouse programs look like.

I think Cooper definitely can win this game. It should be a great game, and IMO it won't be close to a blowout like some think.

I cast my vote for SK on the strength of Lawrence's performance against St. X last fall AFTER Miles Simpson was injured. If he is still the same player, then I think he will be the difference. I hope (for SK's sake) their remaining cast of characters can make up for the one-dimensional offense that only Chad (sans Miles) brings to the table. IMO he is the most elusive runner in NKY this year -- not the best by any means, but his ability to cut back and run against the grain is exceptional and makes it hard to get a clean shot at him. He sidesteps like Collinsworth, except smaller and he doesn't have Highland's line blowing them out up front.

 

Bradley has great vision and is a very effect north-south runner that plays faster than he really is by hitting the hole without hesitation (when one exists.) If his upper body had half the strength of his lower body he would be another Miles.

 

Still, can't wait for Hemple and Elliott to shred SK -- sorry -- couldn't resist!

Not last season but the year before. We don't know about this year yet. When did beating NKY teams make you a powerhouse? A powerhouse is a team that is always near the top, and can win state and has won state. A powerhouse team is always in the running for a state title. SK has not shown this yet. Their a very good team, whose program is gettting better. No more no less.

From looking at the stats it doesn't look like Cooper passes that much I think SK will have an easy job shutting down the run. I don't see Bradley having the big game like he did against Ryle.
