Nice District win for the Bearcats.

This surprises me...

Congrats to Coach Barth!

Walton has obviously come strides since last season.

Bellevue, who defeated Newport is better than billed, so this has to be an extremely satisfying win for Walton-Verona who are quickly establishing themselves as the Number 2 team in the district.

Congratultions to the Bearcats!!!! Headaches for the rest of us.

Biggest win in Walton Verona history and first win under the lights! First district win for the Bearcats and puts them in good position for the district. Walton's offensive line wore down the Bellevue late in the game. Bellevue had a couple of good drives throwing the ball but Walton's defense stiffened up.

Congrats to W.V. what a great win !

Congrats to Walton, glad to see the continuing to improve.

Way to go Bearcats. Solid performance!

This loss falls solely on the seniors and coaching for Bellevue. Truly disappointing for a team that made it to the regional finals a year ago.

Another Wow from a fan of NKY Class A Football!! Great job by WV, and congrats to on your first District win!! Agree with Mustang that this puts them in the drivers' seat for #2 in the District.

Congrats to the Bearcats! First district win and it comes over a quality opponent.

Looks like Walton and Brossart could both be heading to the postseason this year. Good win for the young Bearcats program.

Great job Bearcats!! We're really proud of you!

I don't see how you can blame the seniors and the coaching staff for this one. There is probably 1 team in northern kentucky that can loose 19 seniors and not have a re-building year. I would say that Eckstein wouldn't have retired if those 19 seniors were juniors last year. Think about that. I was at the game last night and also at the scott game and these boys don't have anything to hang their head about. They have alot of fight and they played a pretty good Walton Verona team that has alot of fight in them as well as a really tough offense to get ready for(wing t) Good luck to both of these teams, they're gonna need it against Bishop Brossart, they're sound.

Congrats to the Bearcats! :thumb:
