Reds Playoff Opponent

Which of the potential playoff opponents scares you most as a Reds fan.

Mine is Philly. Strong 3 man rotation concerns me.

Not a Reds fan but definitely Philadelphia.

Ourselves...

But to truly answer the question...I agree with Philly.

Phillies at the top with the Braves in 2nd. The Giants and Padres wouldn't scare me that much.

Philly and I've felt that way since we got swept by them back in July. It was UGLY.

I think Philadelphia. I'm not sure they are as good as the last two years, but they are plenty good enough to make the World Series. I see huge flaws with Atlanta and San Diego, although they are both capable of making a run to the series. I have to think Cincinnati likes their chances of a deep postseason run.

 Atlanta has huge flaws? What would that be? They aren't perfect but they don't have "huge" flaws either.

Philly. That is the only team that scares me. We are better than the rest of them

I wouldn't think losing 4 games by a total of 5 runs is classified as ugly. Cincy had chances to win every game. Very easily could have been a sweep the other way.

With that said, Philly is the team out of the current playoff contenders that I wouldn't want to play in the first round.

Easily the Phillies.

No other team can throw a group as good consistently at the Reds as Halladay, Oswalt, and Hammels.

This thread is the old cart before the horse. If our Reds fail to make the play-offs I will be blaming this thread.

Hudson, Hanson, Jurrjens? Are they scabs or something. Oswalt is good but has been very inconsistent this year and Halladay has proved to be very beatable as well.

I don't see your logic I guess.
