September 2, 201016 yr Which of the potential playoff opponents scares you most as a Reds fan. Mine is Philly. Strong 3 man rotation concerns me.
September 2, 201016 yr Phillies at the top with the Braves in 2nd. The Giants and Padres wouldn't scare me that much.
September 2, 201016 yr Philly and I've felt that way since we got swept by them back in July. It was UGLY.
September 2, 201016 yr I think Philadelphia. I'm not sure they are as good as the last two years, but they are plenty good enough to make the World Series. I see huge flaws with Atlanta and San Diego, although they are both capable of making a run to the series. I have to think Cincinnati likes their chances of a deep postseason run.

September 2, 201016 yr Philly. That is the only team that scares me. We are better than the rest of them
September 2, 201016 yr Philly and I've felt that way since we got swept by them back in July. It was UGLY. I wouldn't think losing 4 games by a total of 5 runs is classified as ugly. Cincy had chances to win every game. Very easily could have been a sweep the other way. With that said, Philly is the team out of the current playoff contenders that I wouldn't want to play in the first round.
September 2, 201016 yr Easily the Phillies. No other team can throw a group as good consistently at the Reds as Halladay, Oswalt, and Hammels.
September 2, 201016 yr This thread is the old cart before the horse. If our Reds fail to make the play-offs I will be blaming this thread.

Oswalt is good but has been very inconsistent this year and Halladay has proved to be very beatable as well. I don't see your logic I guess.
