I watched it and I could not see blood but that doesn't mean he didn't need stitches. On the ribs I have explained my thinking on that. Injuries are a lot more sore the next day. I have done that before. Get hurt but not felt much but the next day could hardly move.

I get your point on the ribs, and agree. However if he was cut to the point of stitches how is there not blood a full minute later? Was the blood scared of Cueto too???

On the play at the plate that Votto got hosed.

What in the world took him so long to score? A line drive with a hump where the left fielder has to go to his left, he went on the crack and didn't hesitate, AND it was cut.

I guess it wasn't a bad idea to send him because of the above but with no outs, they could've held him.

Didn't cost them but it was disappointing that they only got one out of that.

I thought the same thing, so I went back, and watched it again. He did hold up to make sure it would clear Ramirez.

If you get cut deep enough to need stitches there's going to be blood...most likely quite a bit of it.

More than likely but not always. So you saying he got stitches when he didn't need them? I have seen him interviewed since it happened. He needed stitches.

So are you saying that the Cardinals roughed up their own catcher in the clubhouse just to get Cueto suspended? I know reporters all commented on how LaRue's face was all cut.

Ah, I thought he went right away. That definitely explains why he took so long to score.

Can't explain the blood but I am pretty sure he needed stitches or he would not have gotten them. I don't see anyone getting that many when you don't need them.

Or a good makeup job... :D

Lash Larue's batting is enough to keep me in stitches...

Now that is true. He is horrible in the box.

It would take a lot of makeup for Larue to look good. LOL

If the ladies in St. Louis like Larue like they did in Cincy, they must be pretty upset.

I want you to go cut your lip bad enough to need stitches and report back on how long it took to bleed... :D

Constantly trying to be a contrarian to Reds fans for a decade has told me all I need to know about you for years. Go Cubs Go. Maybe next year boss...
Contrarian ... or realist?

I love experiments. If he needs help, I'm sure we'll find someone that's willing to take a field trip.:lol:
