August 15, 201016 yr And don't forget those terrible boo boos on his back that McCarver reminded us over and over that clearly affected his pitching today ... lol Mark me up for another fan that can't stand McCarver.
August 15, 201016 yr Where was the blood or any hint of an injury that didn't appear the entire night??? I have seen him since the night it happened. And the cuts are there. Stitches needed for his lip and nice cut by his eye.
August 15, 201016 yr Author I have seen him since the night it happened. And the cuts are there. Stitches needed for his lip and nice cut by his eye. So they magically appeared days after the fight, but weren't there when it happened? It's a baseball miracle...
August 15, 201016 yr Where was the blood or any hint of an injury that didn't appear the entire night??? AS I said before you are more sore the day after. I have seen athletes sprain an ankle, then keep playing and then the next day not even be able to walk.
August 15, 201016 yr AS I said before you are more sore the day after. I have seen athletes sprain an ankle, then keep playing and then the next day not even be able to walk. That's not the same thing as a bloody lip and concussion like symptoms. You would feel that right away. I'm not denying that Larue might have gotten hurt but the Cards overstated it for sure.
August 15, 201016 yr So they magically appeared days after the fight, but weren't there when it happened? It's a baseball miracle... He had the stitches the next day. Seriously, you are arguing that is he was not hurt when it is obvious that he had cuts on his face.
August 15, 201016 yr Author AS I said before you are more sore the day after. I have seen athletes sprain an ankle, then keep playing and then the next day not even be able to walk. We are talking about cuts so deep they needed stitches. Would that not be visable right after Cueto kicked him, or at least when he was jumping for joy after the Molina HR? Kiss cam? Pretty irresponsible for the Cards staff to let him out in the pen to warm up pitchers, no???
August 15, 201016 yr If he had signs of a concussion there's no way he would have been allowed to warm up relievers late in the game... I'd argue that. I've playes sports with guys who cleary had a concussion who played the rest of the game and did a great job like nothing was wrong. But then they don't remember any of it.

Kiss cam? Pretty irresponsible for the Cards staff to let him out in the pen to warm up pitchers, no??? Cueto got him pretty good. Those kicks were nasty. Who are we to say that he didn't have a concussion. Stitches were needed whether we think so or not.
August 15, 201016 yr He had the stitches the next day. Seriously, you are arguing that is he was not hurt when it is obvious that he had cuts on his face. Pretty sure there's like a 4 hour time frame to get stitches...he should have got them before the game. Cards training staff not doing their job.

But then they don't remember any of it. I'm not saying you can't play with one. I'm saying its not responsibe for the training staff to allow it.

But then they don't remember any of it. Football players go back on the field with concussions. Athletes are stubborn when it comes to injuries. I suffered a concussion in college and continued to play. Stupid at the time but the competitor in me got me back on the court.
August 15, 201016 yr Things you consider whining. 1) Fans discussing the Cardinals continued whining 3 days after the series on a message board. Things we consider whining. 1) Fabricating an injury to make sure Cueto got the harshest punishment possible 2) Still making comments in the media 4 days after the fight 3) Bring up your son and not mentioning if you told him exactly what you said to the Reds manager to really spark the skirmish that was all but over. Maybe if Carp spent more time focusing on Ramirez and Lee he wouldn't have been tagged for two bombs and cost his team the division lead... Yes, all the opinion of you ... hardly an unbiased observer.
August 15, 201016 yr I'm not saying you can't play with one. I'm saying its not responsibe for the training staff to allow it. Staff can only go by what the player tells them.
