Track The Reds (Week 5 Cont)

Featured Replies

beer is a lot cheaper

And the bourbon is way cheaper lol.

People are talking about the Reds, listening to them on the radio, watching them on TV a lot more this year (as they should). So that is a plus.

Is it a coincidence that the Bengals have been a joke for two decades and the Reds haven't made the playoffs since 1995? It's easy to call people front runners but a lot has changed in twenty years. I have a far better view on my HD TV and the beer is a lot cheaper. If they are good for more than this year the attendance will rise every year.

Explain the Bengals still packing the house through about 90% of that time. Who cares if they are good next year. They are in it THIS YEAR. RIGHT NOW...

On a website with a huge chunk of Reds fans? Well that's just shocking...

Again making fun of Carpenter constantly mentioning it is whining how? Please elaborate oh great baseball sage...

I said nothing about the whining being strictly about Carpenter ... it's been across the board for most of the week.
Wood can't be brought up for 10 days from the time he was sent down unless it is to take over for someone being put on the DL...

That can't be true.

It's a MLB rule...

Whatever you say chief...

It's a MLB rule...

But that completely ruins my complaint.

Tailgating. Only 8 home games and partying. Also, the salary cap has let people think (wrongly) that there's a chance every year for the Bengals to win the title.

I know a TON of people that bailed on baseball after the strike. Can't wait to give it to them when football gets locked out and they come crawling back.

I think you totally hit it on the head right there.

Toothpick made up for about 20 posters alone...

Please do not compare my posts with his. LOL

You asked ...

Things you consider whining.

1) Fans discussing the Cardinals continued whining 3 days after the series on a message board.

Things we consider whining.

1) Fabricating an injury to make sure Cueto got the harshest punishment possible

2) Still making comments in the media 4 days after the fight

3) Bring up your son and not mentioning if you told him exactly what you said to the Reds manager to really spark the skirmish that was all but over.

Maybe if Carp spent more time focusing on Ramirez and Lee he wouldn't have been tagged for two bombs and cost his team the division lead...

To me the only 8 home games is what makes football so popular. You build up all week for that one game. In baseball it is survival of the fittest or rich.
