I almost bet on Votto vs. Hanley today, glad I didn't pull the trigger!

That's absurd...

May be he shouldn't whine and complain about the calls. :D

Harang is a no-brainer ... as well as Arroyo has pitched at times, I can see the Reds taking a long look at the possibility of picking up his option.

I think its highly likely they pick up Bronson's option.

Well played... :D

I turned it on just in time to see that. Can't say I blame Votto for being upset - that zone was awful.

Or maybe it wasn't according to Fox Trax. Well, the toss was awful anyway.

Fox Trax is beyond a joke.

I thought you would like that.

Fox Trax is beyond a joke.

Why is it a joke? The camera angle to me makes it tough to call from home.

Camera angle would affect in and out but not up and down. I think up was Votto's complaint, as well as Gomes' on his first strike.

If you watch enough games you can figure out what is and isn't a strike. Fox Trax always seems way off to me. Sweet you watch a lot of Reds games for a Cards fan. :D

If you watch many Reds games you'll realize it's awful.

There are pitches right down the middle that Fox Trax has as balls.

I actually do watch some REsd games. I get both Cards and Reds on Fox each day.

Different parks have different angles from CF and strikes look different from each one.

When it first came out they showed it all the time, it seems they haven't been showing it nearly as much lately and that is because it is terrible.

I watch a lot of Reds games I have a pretty good feel for what is and isn't a strike and Fox Trax doesn't IMO.

I am sure you can tell a strike from home better than the technology that is used today.

I said it before...there is something about Votto that alot of folks in the MLB don't like. Look at the all-star snub, the way he gets tossed. He is having a monster year, but isn't treated like a star by the umps.
