August 11, 201016 yr Yes, precisely why Bob Gibson would have hit him in the head the next time up, as should Cueto. I would not have had a problem if Molina would have been plunked (may be not in the head) for what he did around the bases.
August 11, 201016 yr And??? Shows the whole team had a bone to pick with Phillips.... As it was pointed out by the baseball tonight guys...
August 11, 201016 yr But it's OK for Fat Albert to do it? Read my quote from above. I said if Albert would have said those comments then no he should not do it either.
August 11, 201016 yr I would not have had a problem if Molina would have been plunked (may be not in the head) for what he did around the bases. StL paper guy said he normally does that? That is what John Fay said at least.
August 11, 201016 yr Shows the whole team had a bone to pick with Phillips.... As it was pointed out by the baseball tonight guys... And how does that change Molina kicking the bat before BP could tap his shinguard???
August 11, 201016 yr The altercation was over for the most part until Dusty and Tony started talking about Frank's mother and then Carpenter and Dusty began to compare and talk about Frank's chew. To me, everything was just about over with and done until the managers brought Frank into the discussion. It's Frank's fault. Who the hell is Frank? Wasn't that smart guy that Andy thought Helen was "runnin' with" named Frank?
August 11, 201016 yr And how does that change Molina kicking the bat before BP could tap his shinguard??? Nothing, I was just pointing it out.
August 11, 201016 yr Read my quote from above. I said if Albert would have said those comments then no he should not do it either. It has nothing to do with the comments before hand those guys do that stuff every game its second nature, they wouldn't change any kind of odd ritual they do for anything. Sure the comments made Molina think about it and try to start the fight by kicking the bat.
August 11, 201016 yr I haven't read through the posts, but if you guys watch closely it was Carpenter's fault that the second part of the fight broke out. He said something to Dusty, Dusty said some words I can't repeat, Rolen didn't appreciate it, and went after him and it hit the fan. Didn't mind Carpenter before last night, I didn't like Carpenter after last night, now I absolutely can't stand him. What an idiot.
August 11, 201016 yr Who the hell is Frank? Wasn't that smart guy that Andy thought Helen "runnin' with" named Frank? It's obvious who Frank is if you can read lips. It's the only person they were jawing about.

Like Molina said, don't talk about my teammates and them come up and try to say hi.

August 11, 201016 yr He will for sure and rightfully so but at one point it seems like the whole group was going that way which is why he might have reacted that way. He is just a little guy he probably didn't know what else to do. I think he did just freak out when he went flying but it looked like it was Johnny Gomes that launched him while trying to catch Rolen. I don't really think he knew who he was kicking and the funny thing is I don't think anyone was trying to do anything to hiim--he just ended up in the wrong spot.
