Track the Reds (2nd Half, Week 5)

What else was he gonna do?

Not raise your metal cleats up and start kicking. He clearly ran there looking to get into it and then he gets pushed up and is "scared"... Carp was pushed up against the fence and he wasn't kicking.

He was until he went after Carp and that is what it all really took off. But I did see those 2 next to each other after it was all over with.

IMO MLB will suspend him because it was dying and then it got ugly when Rolen became agitated.

What would you have done had you been Molina?

I don't know but what does that have to do with it? He still started the fight regardless of what BP said earlier.

Carp said in the postgame that Rolen didn't do anything but try to separate him from the pack.

Carp had people holding onto him and blocking him Cueto not so much.

That might be the case but it still sparked the main part of the fight, it didn't look like he was trying to separate anyone for a minute.

BP started it with the comments and that bat tap. Molina just responded.

I don't think anyone is siding with Phillips outside of Cincy. Molina ended it too with his HR.

I think most people who have played team sports and have any semblance of "team" would have acted in the same way as Molina. As I said earlier, his teammates love him for his actions tonight. Too many players are soft and will let their team be trashed. The Reds have suffered from this in the last 2 or 3 years.

Said the momentum of the players is what took him into the net. Didn't speak badly at all about Rolen.

I know. Runs his mouth then tries to act buddy buddy.

What gives BP the right to walk up and tap him on the shinguard with his bat anyway? And the he does it every game excuse doesn't fly...especially after he came out and said what he said the day before. He ran his mouth, first place was on the line and he comes out and tries that stuff? I'd have given him an earful too.

If you're going to come out and say the stuff you do come out and play, leave the catcher alone and get in the box. How do you know Molina didn't tell Phillips not to touch him?

That all good and dandy but I'm not sure what your trying to prove he still started the fight?

So BP walks to the plate and Molina says he don't touch me man? Molina kicked his bat BEFORE he hit him on the shin guard.
