Pujols did the same bat tap the half inning before to the ump and Hernandez.

Your right but he didn't make comments about the Reds either.

Still believing that?

I don't really care what you think either way and to be honest I don't really care who started either. Just stating what the video shows. Your a Cards fan and you are taking their side, I am a Reds fan and I am on their side.

9:49 of video and they showed the Phillips bat tap once.

That video shows Phillips when he goes to get in the box the 2ND time. On ESPN it is clear that Molina doesn't try to kick the bat until Phillips tries to touch him with it. It wasn't like Phillips was taking his warm-up swings and Molina tried to kick the bat out of his hands. He was in the process of trying to tap Molina with it--then he reached back and tried to do it AGAIN. Watch the whole sequence on ESPN, its clear that the kick came when Phillips tried to touch him--not before.

Go to the 4 minute mark. I watched it already a few times. BP was going that way with the bat yes and Molina kicked the bat before he touched him with it exactly like I said.

Or because it is the truth. He does indeed own the Reds.

Watch the replay, all they did was talk. I never saw the big deal in it.

I don't know what was said and probably never will but whatever it was Rolen wasn't very happy about it. It was odd that is for sure because he seems to go after Carp but then was fine later.

Pujols does the bat tap thing as well but if he would have made comments like that and then did what BP did, then I could not defend him and his actions.

The video shows what just about everybody on this boards sees, BP instigated by tapping at Molina.

Did anyone notice Molina impersonate Phillips around the bases after the home run?

When you think about it, this whole" I'm touching you, don't touch me, try to keep me from touching you" seems so very silly. Reminds me of me and my sis when we were 8 and 7.

This rivalry has been brewing since Walt took the job, and now it's a hot mess. BP poured the gas and Molina sparked the flame. Dusty and Abner already have no love lost. Here's to a few years of this staying heated...

The altercation was over for the most part until Dusty and Tony started talking about Frank's mother and then Carpenter and Dusty began to compare and talk about Frank's chew. To me, everything was just about over with and done until the managers brought Frank into the discussion.

It's Frank's fault.

IMO it started by kicked the bat and that was clearly what happened first which is what I said the whole time. I'm not defending BP at all he's lucky someone didn't lay him out.
