What gives BP the right to walk up and tap him on the shinguard with his bat anyway? And the he does it every game excuse doesn't fly...especially after he came out and said what he said the day before. He ran his mouth, first place was on the line and he comes out and tries that stuff? I'd have given him an earful too.

If you're going to come out and say the stuff you do come out and play, leave the catcher alone and get in the box. How do you know Molina didn't tell Phillips not to touch him?

BP made it worse by doing it twice.

That all good and dandy but I'm not sure what your trying to prove he still started the fight?

If you don't get it , fine.

The majority "get it."

When you tap a guy on the shinguard AGAIN after he has already made it clear that it's not cool you're the agitator.

So Molina didn't instigate it by kicking the bat? What exactly am I not getting? That BP planted the seed for the fight to take place? Yeah I get it. However Molina started the on the field fight.

So BP walks to the plate and Molina says he don't touch me man? Molina kicked his bat BEFORE he hit him on the shin guard.

And then Phillips tried to do it again? Phillips started this fight. He is the reason there was a brawl.

He kicked at the bat as BP tried to tap him with it.

BP started the on field fight by trying to tap molina's shin guard.

So Molina kicks the bat before BP tapped him with it but it's BPs fault? Ok then. I don't really care who started it honestly because it was awesome and I love Baseball fights.

I could care less really who started it tonight. It was Phillips who started everything with his stupid comments. Even if there is no shim tap and Molina just gets in his face and lets him know those comments were heard thats cool. At least Molina backed his talk up.

Let's be clear about this. He didn't kick at the bat while Phillips was standing there. If Phillips hadn't have tried to touch Molina this wouldn't have happened. Phillips was in the process of tapping him on the shinguard with it, Molina wanted nothing to do with it so he kicked at the bat. If Phillips pregame ritual was to walk up and rub the catcher and umpire on the head do you think they'd be cool with that just because he does it all the time? Molina didn't want Phillips to touch him and kicked the bat away when he tried. At that point Phillips could have gotten in the box and played ball but he wanted to try it again and then decided to run his mouth. Phillips is to blame for the entire situation. Then Molina went and punked him out on the field.

Did you not see the replay of it 100 times? BP starts to tap his shin guard. as he is doing it Molina kicks at it. Pretty easy to see who instigated the whole event. It started with comment and then with the bat tap.

Either you are just trying to stir the pot or really don't get what happened.

Couldn't have said it any better.

Pretty sure it's Molina runs his yap the whole time AFTER he kicks the bat. Skip to the 4 minute mark its pretty clear.

Molina kicks the bat then BP touches him with it probably to make him mad and then Molina keeps running his mouth till the fight starts.
