August 11, 201016 yr My guess on suspensions: Cueto - 5 games Phillips - 1 game Molina - 1 game Baker - 3 games LaRussa 3 games Carpenter - fined Rolen - fined Red's Bullpen Coach - fined
August 11, 201016 yr They do whine. From Arroyo's hat, to the balls being too wet or slick, to Masset's fist pump, etc.... WOW, 3 whole examples, your right they are whiners.

I just believe that Phillips and Molina should get the same punishment here. Tony LaRussa doesn't agree with me though lol.

I actually think Philips and Molina shouldn't get anything. Again the only one I believe should receive any thing is Cueto and it should be way more then 5 games.
August 11, 201016 yr WOW, 3 whole examples, your right they are whiners. That's only with the Reds, and I didn't mention a couple other ones. I'm sure they cry about stuff with all the other teams they play as well...

August 11, 201016 yr Way more than 5 games? WOW....Ok, Tony La Russa... He kicked Larue in the head and Carpenter in the back. You really think that only warrants 5 games?
August 11, 201016 yr I actually think Philips and Molina shouldn't get anything. Again the only one I believe should receive any thing is Cueto and it should be way more then 5 games. I would be fine with Phillips and Molina not receiving any punishment too, just as long as whatever one gets, the other does too. As for Cueto. I'm not real sure how many I feel he should get. 5 seems sufficient, but how does that work anyway with a starting pitcher? So, he just has to sit out one start, or five starts?
August 11, 201016 yr He kicked Larue in the head and Carpenter in the back. You really think that only warrants 5 games? I think it warrants the same punishment as landing a punch or two would in a brawl, which would normally be 5 games. I could maybe see 10 games (two starts), but anything more would be insane.

I think 10 games is about right.
August 11, 201016 yr So kicking someone in the head/face with a metal cleats no is the same as punching someone with your fist? I think 10 games is about right. It warrants the same suspension. Especially when it was obvious he was trying to free himself from the netting. It wasn't like he was trying to hurt anyone. What do you feel the appropriate suspension would be? Eternity, like La Russa?
August 11, 201016 yr Classic case of getting in someones head. They whine, they get you emotional enought o spout of in the media, they get you to brawl on the field, and then they smile as you implode. Classic.
August 11, 201016 yr They're in this now to solely beat the Cards now and I think it's good for the team. Gives em a little kick start and extra incentive to play the rest of the season out like it's their last. I think we're going to see a tougher team also.
