Trevan Brown received a full offer yesterday from Miami OH. Congrats to Trevan on his first offer.

I was just getting ready to start this thread, Congrats to the young man. Miami Oh just offered Ryle qb Conner Hempel today. Maybe they see the talent in Nky like all the other schools!

Congrats to both!

Congrats to Trevan. I havent seen him play football but he is an absolute beast on the hardwood. He has very good feet and is very skilled so I can imagine he will be a very good football player in college as well.

I'm with qryche11, I didn't even know about Brown until hoops season but he seems to have good athleticism for a big kid, and seemed to have a high speed motor. Congrats.

They just got a verbal from LaSalle QB Andrew Kummer. Still, Hempel could compete with him.

Brown plays the tight end position for Boone and considering their passing game is very minimal, he tends to fly under the radar even at 6'3' and 265 lbs, but you have to remember the Boone running backs get their yards because of a good O-Line and good blocking tight ends. Trevan has quite a few Div I schools interested in him and U of Miami Ohio is the first to offer, more could come later, but this offer is an excellent educational/athletic opportunity.

Congrats Treven. Good kid and student. I would imagine he'll play guard or tackle at Miami, don't you think?

Trevan has committed to Miami O.

Congrats and stay away from the sorority girls.

Congrats

From all the reports, that may be the best part of going to Miami.

This was in response to Clyde.

Yep. In my opinion, that's where he should be playing in high school.

Heck, I assumed he already was a tackle.

Of course when you're a TE for Boone you're essentially an eligible tackle.

Congrats to this young man. I love to see local kids get these tremendous opportunities. Good luck to you Trevan. Certainly a life changing event.

Great point and I apologize for not congratulating the young man in my prior post. That's what I should be posting about, not what position he should be playing in high school or will play in college. Congrats young man. Miami of Ohio is one heck of a college. If he decides to go there, I don't think he can go wrong.
