Apparently, a former high school star basketball player from Florida loved his high school days too much. So much so, in fact, that the 22-year-old relocated to Texas, enrolled at Odessa Permian HS under an assumed name, and starred the whole season as a "16-year-old sophomore." Crazy stuff.

I thought about posting this the other day. It's a crazy story.

This was in USA Today and on ESPN's website last week, but he obviously hadn't been arrested yet.

Wow! What is bad is the junior high school is the one that accepted him into the district. Then when the HS receives the information from the junior high they just assume everything is accurate. It is a shame for all the other kids. They will have to forfeit all those games and didn't do anything wrong.

He just wanted to live the dream a little bit more--can't fault the poor guy!!!!!!

If he had a girlfriend at his new school, I'm guessing he could get into some really serious trouble.
