May 10, 201016 yr While Game 5 is an important game for both teams, all the pressure back on Cleveland. These two teams are likely going to play 7 games now, so a well rested Magic team will get the leftovers, good luck. Same exact scenario as last year.....except roles will be reversed. Last year Orlando went 7 with an underrated Boston team, while Cleveland humilated their first two round opponets (no games closer than 10 points). This year either the Cavs will have went 6 or 7 to play a rested Magic team, or the underrated Celtics will.
May 10, 201016 yr Cleveland (if they make it) and Orlando is going to be a great series. Lakers and Phoenix should be an entertaining series that might turn out to be closer than we all think. But I would choose Lakers in 6. I still find it very, very, very ironic that the best teams with the best chances to have a true battle to get to the finals is out of the East even though the West is seen as the stronger conference. I think everyone agrees that the Celtics and/or Magic beating the Cavs is a more realistic scenario than the Suns/Spurs/Jazz beating the Lakers. Suns have a pretty fair shot at the Lakers.
May 10, 201016 yr Los Suns sweep the Spurs. David Robinson was very classy as usual, seeking out Alvin Gentry, Nash, and other Suns to congratulate them after the game. Nash with one eye was terrific. I would love to see the Suns handle the Lakers in the WC Finals.
May 10, 201016 yr Suns have a pretty fair shot at the Lakers. I would LOVE to see Mr. Nash and Mr. Hill take their team to the finals. I have to say I would have never thought the Suns sweep the Spurs.
May 10, 201016 yr This isn't the same Spurs team that ran the Western Conference. Matt Bonner logging major minutes???
May 10, 201016 yr This isn't the same Spurs team that ran the Western Conference. Matt Bonner logging major minutes??? Nope. It was a 7 seeded Spurs team that played a Mavericks team accustomed to losing in the first round. I thought they would beat the Suns. Them getting swept is shocking. They were a 7 seed for a reason. Nothing Los Suns have done makes me think they can beat the Lakers in a 7 game series. They don't have anyone who can guard Kobe or Gasol.
May 10, 201016 yr Suns have a pretty fair shot at the Lakers. :ohbrother::lol: How and why? Edited May 10, 201016 yr by PurplePride92

It's another when you let it cloud your judgement. Even if the series went 7 games, the Lakers will beat Los Suns. The only chance the Suns have against the Lakers is a fat chance, IMO. David Robinson has always been a stand up guy of high character. When people talk glowingly of Shaq I wish they would remember how much he has publicly hated on David Robinson who is a man who has done things for the city of San Antonio that no NBA player has ever done for their city. The man is a true role model and there is no better ambassador for the game of basketball.
May 10, 201016 yr Boston is real lucky Rondo signed that 5 year $55 Million offer. Someone would have given him max money.
May 10, 201016 yr I remember last year when everyone doubted the Magic all postseason, there was no way they could play with the Cavs, and blah blah blah...Now this year, they're dominating and it's because they're playing the Bobcats and Hawks. What will all of your excuses be when the win the whole dange thing like they're going to? You said they were going to beat the Lakers in the Finals last year...

May 10, 201016 yr I've doubted the Suns so far in the playoffs, but I think they'll give LA some problems. I still see the Lakers winning, but the Lakers don't have a good matchup for Nash, and Stoudemire cannot be guarded IMO in their offense. Maybe it's all Nash, but Amare is still nearly unstoppable and will draw alot of fouls. I think it's going to be an interesting series, but I have the Lakers winning in 6.
May 11, 201016 yr The Hawks have played better tonight, but they just aren't in the Magic's league. Orlando shot an unbelievable percentage in the first half.
