Spurs are looking their age right now..... I agree man. :thumb: The Suns are the only team I have reservations about of the first 3, but I think it's probable that they are going to get by the Spurs. I just can't imagine the Lakers or Magic losing this round. Both series look like mismatches of epic proportions, even though the Jazz have hung tough.

If the Magic don't sweep, they simply lost focus for a game or two. They should be really well rested for the victor of the Cavs/Celtics battle. I figure Lakers in 5 or 6. They have looked really good since they got blown out by Oklahoma. I like the way they are playing. Well, except for the bench. I agree, the Spurs are certainly capable of tying the series up and I honestly expect them to, but I think Los Suns will beat them regardless. I'd rather see the Lakers play Los Suns than the Spurs, but every game the Spurs adds on to that series only benefits the Lakers, IMO.

To be honest, Denver and Portland were the two teams I most wanted to avoid, but injuries and bad luck took care of that. It's not inconceivable that the Spurs or Suns could knock LA out, but at this point, I'd be somewhat surprised to see it happen.

The only thing Lakers fans have to worry about is if they are careless for two games in a series and lose them both. Even if they are careless for 2 games against the Suns/Spurs they are good enough to win both of those games. It's quite possible their toughest series is round 1 like last year. I do think the Magic and a healthy Cavs team would give them a good series though.
May 7, 201016 yr The Hawks are playing much better tonight. I read a thing on ESPN about their defensive strategy, and how they went against it in game 1. They weren't going to beat the Magic the other day no matter what they did, but tonight they are playing their style in playing Dwight Howard more straight up. Dwight is having a heck of a game, but Atlanta is playing even with Orlando. Don't know if it will make much a difference, but they might be able to take a game or two.
May 7, 201016 yr The Magic were just too tough at the end of the game. Atlanta had a nice effort for 3 quarters, but they played the 4th quarter like they played all game in game 1. Josh Smith is the most disgraceful basketball player in the league. He was sickening to watch tonight. Atlanta played 4 on 5 most of the night, because Smith just did not bring any effort. I know he put up decent numbers tonight, but he walked up and down the court and refused to close out on Lewis in the 4th. Why they waste their time with him, I will never know. That said, nothing the Hawks could have done tonight would have saved them in the 4th. They are just not an elite basketball team, and this series is a complete mismatch. I think they found somethings they could work with to at least test Orlando a little bit over the next 2 or 3 games, but they're not beating Orlando.

Just cracking a joke. No biggie. Yes, I know the Celts whipped the Cavs just as bad the other night. Just cracking jokes on a top heavy Eastern Conference. That's all.
