Track the NBA Playoffs (2nd Round)
Neil Grande replied to HOMELESS CAMEL's topic in National Basketball Association (NBA)
Maybe he meant playoff games, and if he did then that number isnt way off. I can only think of 3 where he had really bad games. 1 game against the Wizards in 2006 playoffs, game 1 vs. the Pistons in 2007 playoffs when he had 10 points, and Tuesday night. -

Its not that he doesn't have anyone to help him win. Its that he doesn't have another player on that team that can pick up the slack when he is having a bad game. No one else on the Cavs can create their own shot and be consistant. The Cavs are -16 points per game when LeBron is off the floor, the most in the NBA for any player. The Celtics are just a bad matchup for the Cavs. Jamison cant guard Garnett, Mo cant guard Rondo or Allen, and Parker cant guard anyone. LeBron might have one more in him with the Cavs but who knows. I just hope he doesn't come out and miss a few shots and get down early, then just mope around the rest of the game. -

I made a playoff tree earlier on NBA2K10 identical to this years tree. I simulated all the games and it had Cleveland beating Boston in 7 and the Lakers winning in the finals over the Magic. I think that is gonna be the way it plays out. -

Looks like the elbow is fine tonight. James already has 20 points on 8-10 shooting in the first quarter. -

Sicko refuses to sign with NFL team
Neil Grande replied to The Scribe's topic in National Football League (NFL)
I would take a few bullets in the gut for the chance to play in the NFL. I just dont understand why he is not even going to give it a chance. I dont think I could live with myself knowing that I didnt even try to make a NFL team when I had the opportunitiy. -
I think it is ridiculous. Im a college student and drink very often but would never drink and drive. I have slept in my car, walked for miles to get home, and even tried the captain morgan pizza delivery commercial(they wouldnt give me a ride for insurance reasons) I dont see why people of his status would chance it.

The latest mock drafts I have seen have all 5 going in the first round with Orton going 20-25. I would be shocked If anybody came back.

The new look of the Kentucky Wildcats
Neil Grande replied to TrueBlueWildcat's topic in College Basketball
I think we get Knight, Leslie, Kanter, and Poole for sure. I doubt we get Selby because he wouldn't want to take a backseat to Knight like Bledsoe did this year. I just dont see Jones and Lamb coming. -
Even though he had a bad shooting night I was impressed with Knight. It seemed like he could take any defender there off the dribble and made some great passes.

Aldrich got worked by that 40 year old that plays for Northern Iowa. I doubt he will get a chance to get worked in the NBA.

Wheres Clyde? He knows all the rules.

Ok maybe he did, but im sure he didnt use that same logic in all the other games he picked Why would that matter anyway, last time I checked the team with the most points win the game. And missing only 5 in the first round is very different from picking every 1st and 2nd round winner. Im sure tons of people picked Northern Iowa over Kansas (not in a money bracket of course) but they didnt pick every other upset and winner to go along with that. I cant believe people actually think this is real.
-
If its a numbers game of records and stats then what is his logic for picking Northern Iowa over Kansas. Kansas averaged 81 pts a game during the season while Northern Iowa averaged 63. Ok, lets say he did pick the upset. But he picked it on the same bracket with all the other upsets that he supposably got right, the bracket where every buzzer beater and every missed shot at the buzzer seemed to help him win every game. I just don't believe it. Even when playing the odds of seeds to advance (which he didnt do) there is a 1 in 390,625 of picking a perfect round one.

I don't think its real in the first place. The kid says he studies number all season to help him make his bracket selections? C'mon kid how do you pick the Northern Iowa, St. Mary's, and Ohio upsets when you know that those teams shouldnt match up and beat the teams they beat. And with all those first and second round close games the buzzer beaters conviently helped you so that you didnt miss a game. The rest of his bracket isnt going to play out so well but in a year where everyones bracket is garbage they just have to make up something to make you feel like you know nothing about basketball. "I study numbers all season" Yea right :irked:
