Top QB's in NKY

Featured Replies

He is lighting fast and can throw the deep ball! Ryle will be facing the SK defense that only lost a couple starters!!!

That makes a great QB? As someone who played the position I guess I am completely wrong on what makes a good QB.:ohbrother:

His stats should show how good a QB along with his record hes only lost 3 games as a QB!!!

You should see Patrick now, he has been putting on size and from what I understand working with Fitness guru Brian Wiefering. He has picked up atleast 25 to 30 lbs since hoops season. Patrick is supposed to get to 6'7 or 6'8 from what I am hearing and if that happens it might make the QB a little difficult to play but lets hope he doesnt hit that height until the final month of his SR football season. :D

I saw him as well he is getting much bigger and its not at all fat. I don't know who he is working with but I know Dale's program seems to really work on him as well. Can't wait for the season to get going to we can all watch this kid grow (on the field that is).

It factor? Last year against SK i didnt see no "it" factor i seen "hit" factor though every other play Austin Baldwin was drilling him into the ground!!!!

You speak of one particular player hitting Ryle offensive players...are you the president of his fan club??

I don't know why so many HS football fans suggest that the QB needs to be a prototypical QB (Towles). I assume it is because most colleges are looking for the same thing. There are many other things that factor into them being great. SKfan36's explanation for Chad Lawrence sounds like that of an 8 year old without the mental capacity to establish an argument. But even though your points are absurd and ridiculous, he is one of the top QB's in NKY. It's a good thing that you arent his attorney though...

Only??? Sorry, just had to pile on:lol:

From what team? I find it hard to believe a young man who hasn't started a varsity game at that position has landed a offer from a SEC school.

That's where a lot of people that aren't familiar with how college recruiting is done are mislead. From what I heard, Pike attended several different one day evaluation camps and combines where he had the chance to show his skills at a position that he should have been in possibly from the start. That's where the scouts can truly evaluate his mechanics as a qb. High school starts/stats could mean nothing a lot of the times, especially if you can't benefit from your coaches choice of who should start (politics) or his style of play.

How did SK lose any games last year with the studs they had, best back in the state best QB in the state and even the best line.

I guess it would have to be coaching. We have yet to hear how great the staff is out in Independence, or the other teams cheated. Yeah that's probably it, they had to have cheated:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Miles didnt play the entire game against Henry Clay cause of his ankle one of the reasons they lost and He got hurt again against ST X they will have a great season this year though!

I understand that he may have attented those camps but you don't get an offer from a one day camp without them seeing you play a game. Their are a lot of people that look good throwing in shorts and tees but the coaches want to see how they react when the pressure is on.

SK will be unbeatable this year because they don't have to worry about replacing their feature running back every game, who only played a quarter or two per game. Their backs are so fast, no one can catch them.

I believe Wiefering is his nutrition guy and he lifts and trains with the football team.

Maybe they saw his game films...he looked pretty good against JV competition. :dancingpa
