I really hope so because Towles will need to step up. He will need to make more plays with the all everythng RBs leaving whick I think he can.

I heard rumours that Andy Miller is returning to FB for NCC. He very well could end up as QB...and doing VERY well there!

only one of the three QB's mentioned has a Championship ring. He also did it as a sophmore to boot. Towles has the size, speed, intelligence and work ethic that D1 coaches love. He also has two years under Lorenzen's tutelage to become one of the best QB's to ever play in KY, let alone the NKY area. Mark it down.....He will become a VERY good QB over the next two years and will play somewhere BIG in College. He happens to be a great young man to go along with it all. JMO.:thumb:

Wow, thank goodness he won a state championship. Thank goodness he went undefeated as a starter. Thank goodness he never threw an interception as a starter. Thank goodness he threw for a 1000yds. Thank goodness he averaged about 26 yds a pass reception. Imagine what they would say about him if he didn't do all of this. This young fella pushes himself. And oh yea thank goodness he's only a sophomore!

Excellent perception! Towles is a good quaterback and a great kid. Next years season will show how much talent he truly has when takes the helm as the true starter. Great kid and I wish the best for his eason.

I thought he was paying PT compliments Dixie. Why so defensive? Everyone knows who PT is after he stepped in for Will Bardo last season. Starting the year with his own team will be a little different than stepping into Will's team but he has the tools and leadership qualities to do very well.

As soon as Bardo got injured it was Patricks team. He showed some of his skills , although on a limited scale, due to Dales direction. From what I saw , he has a strong arm and some good wheels. He didn't make any "big mistakes" even when he came into the X game. I believe that he will do just fine as the birds QB.He should have a good supporting cast and some great coaching also.

My only concern will be if he can lead the team. I know that he is young but he will need to make it his team. He seems like a guy that leads by example I hope they all follow him.

You have to know Patrick to know he is also a vocal leader. He was always the rah rah guy during basketball games in Junior High from what I remember. I am sure as a sophomore stepping in it was tough to grab guys by the facemask and challenge his teammates in the huddle but I think he can be that guy over the next two years.

If you would ask Will, Pat or the others probably none would view it that way. All the Birds' players take "ownership" of the TEAM.

I know they take ownership of the team but in some respect it has to be his team. Stepping in last year he was amazing. He did is job and they won State. This year more pressure will be on him I just hope he is ready which I'm sure coach and the guys will have him ready. As for McCoy I'm interested to see this kid close up I have heard so many good thing and I have heard he's an even better guy. Should make for an interesting year in Cake Town.
