April 4, 201016 yr That's horrible. I've seen people do that many a times and thought that they sure did have alot of faith in those railings. I for one don't even trust balcony's much any more, certainly not the railings. Are they saying the railing gave way or that he fell over top of it?
April 4, 201016 yr Are they saying the railing gave way or that he fell over top of it? I'd hear that it gave way orginally but haven't heard that since, however he was very tall. Either way I don't ever trust those railings, for that very reason.

I'm 6' 3" and have the same experience with many railings. Matt was 6' 8". Generally I don't trust railings to stop anything more than a casual bump.

April 5, 201016 yr This is really a shame, talk about a kid who had the entire world at his fingertips. It appears that he made some poor choices that ultimately cost him his life. I am continuing to pray for our young people that they learn to make good decisions. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

April 5, 201016 yr The paper states toxicology tests could take up to three months, is that the norm? Yea those places are swamped and usually get sent somewhere nationally for testing, which as you can imagine on a national level takes quite a while. Part of why I laugh at CSI stuff sometimes.
