Matt James Passes Away

Featured Replies

You know there was a group that left Monday AM instead of Sunday Early AM so they could rest. Well, they had a bit of a mishap in Louisville on the way. Everyone is alright, but it could have been devistating. They were and are with parents, just driving in different cars. Or at least they were.

Point is, it doesn't really matter what day they left, anything can happen and at anytime. It's crazy how it seems to be more prevelent. Maybe it's just the media and technology that allows word to travel a lot quicker.

Of course anything can happen at any time.

However, that's true in anything. Why increase the odds?

ND had their spring game this weekend and had a prayer service for Matt. A former player in the NFL was there and when asked if he knew Matt he said something like "even though he didn't play he's part of the family."

ND also told the James family that Matt will receive an honorary degree.

My friend HSSRB said "I hate ND football but you have to admit ND does a lot of things right."

How is he doing these days? Met him at a husker game back in 07 down at Wake Forest. He was a good dude.
